So, introductions . . .

Some things you should know about this blog:

What are you reading right now is basically an outlet for my random observations. Basically.

When I say random, I mean random. In any given post, you can expect any of a variety of subjects. For example, literature, classical music, reformed theology, rantings against petty drama, movies, the physics of music (fascinating subject, actually), popular music, random quotes, Bible verses, the story-telling properties of music, and on and on and . . .

See? Random. Very Random.

Some things you should know about me, the author:

If you are actually going to waste enough of your precious time to read this far, I suppose I should introduce myself . . .

I am a dreamer, an amateur thinker, an aspiring artist.
I am conservative, reformed, Presbyterian.
I am a romantic, an Austen aficionado who loves morbid literature (figure that one out), a lover of all things literary.
I am an aspiring musician, a wanna-be story-teller, a piano-performance major.
I am eclectic, the one whose music library skips from Brahms to Paramore.
I am a part-time nerd.
I am a sinner, saved by Grace.
I am not really expecting anyone to read this.

Disclaimer: This blog will be sporadic and amateurish in content. I am not a writer, just a dabbler.

Here's one of those random quotes, just for fun . . .
"No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible." ~ W. H. Auden
